iPhone 4: Details, Pricing and Photos

The latest iPhone was announced today, and it's packing many new features different from the last iPhone generation, including a sleek new look. The new phone has a new glass and steel exterior, and Steve Jobs has called this the "biggest leap we've taken since the original iPhone", and the "thinnest smartphone on the planet." Details below.

• FaceTime. A brand new video calling feature that will be introduced with the iPhone 4.
• Cameras on both the front and back of phone.
• 960 x 640 resolution. Yeah, that's 4x the resolution of the last iPhone/iPod.
• Multitasking. We already knew this was coming with iPhone OS 4.0.
• HD video recording. 720p, 30 frames per second.
• Build in gyroscope for more accurate screen angle detection.

The new iPhone will released as a 16GB and 32GB model. The 16GB will retail at $199, while the 32GB will be $299. This is a significant price drop from previous models, so expect sales to skyrocket for Apple.
