It's no secret that the latest model of the iPhone is already zooming off shelves although it hasn't even been released yet. It's nearly impossible to order one anywhere, due to all of the stock being purchased through pre-orders. AT&T stated that "iPhone 4 pre-order sales on June 15 were 10-times higher than the first day of pre-ordering for the iPhone 3GS last year."
All iPhone pre-orders will be shipped this week to the homes and businesses of the customer or available for pickup at AT&T retail stores. Although the company believes it will be able to fulfill the demand on all of the pre-orders, the iPhone 4 will not be available at retail through AT&T until June 29th. That is, if you can get your hands on one before they are all sold out again.
